Robert V. Ippolito

With more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, Bob Ippolito has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of retirement planning, with particular expertise in annuities, retirement income strategies, mutual funds, and general securities.
As President and Founder of Praesidium Strategies, LLC, and through his affiliation with Magellan Financial, Bob works primarily with individuals who are approaching or already enjoying retirement. He understands that preparing for retirement is fundamentally different from preparing for the accumulation years—and that the strategies used to build wealth may not be the same strategies needed to protect and distribute it in retirement.
Bob’s approach focuses on helping clients develop retirement income strategies designed around their individual goals, risk tolerance, and need for financial security. His work emphasizes managing downside risk, pursuing dependable growth, and creating income strategies that can provide a reliable stream of retirement income.
Bob’s career in financial services began decades ago, and his experience includes helping build one of the industry’s early innovations in mutual fund management. In 1987, he was one of the co-founders of The Enterprise Group of Funds, the first-ever family of sub-advised mutual funds. As National Sales Manager and later Managing Director of National Accounts, Bob played an important role in growing the firm to nearly $10 billion in assets.
More recently, Bob spent seven years with Pacific Life’s Retirement Solutions Division, serving in a variety of regional and national roles. Throughout his career, he has developed a deep understanding of the retirement landscape and the challenges individuals face as they transition from earning a paycheck to creating sustainable retirement income.
For Bob, retirement planning is about more than numbers. It’s about helping people feel confident about the years ahead and creating a strategy that reflects what matters most to them.
Bob and his wife, Debra, live in Duluth, Georgia. Away from work, he enjoys spending time on the golf course, playing guitar, and riding his two Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
